I lead admissions and enrollment communications at a university in the Pacific Northwest. Most of my days are spent helping institutions talk to students in ways that are honest, clear, and useful — which turns out to be harder than it sounds.
On the side, I build software. The kind that solves a real problem I ran into and couldn't find a good answer for anywhere else.
This is where I write about the things I'm making, the ideas I'm wrestling with, and what it takes to actually finish. The audience is anyone who finds it useful — and, more than anyone, future me.
No growth strategy. No content calendar. Just writing I'd be glad to read again in ten years.
